Fresca Mixed:
What's the Tee.
Red Summit Productions spent two days at a Georgia golf club producing "What's the Tee," a two-episode branded content series introducing FRESCA™ Mixed's line of premium pre-mixed cocktails.
Bringing an Elevated, Effortless Lifestyle to the Golf Course.
FRESCA™ Mixed is a line of premium, pre-mixed cocktails made with the signature citrus taste of FRESCA® and real vodka or tequila, a partnership between Constellation Brands and Coca-Cola. The brand's positioning is deliberately dual: elevated but fun, a secret weapon for everything from a summer toast to a nineteenth-hole drink.
Working with agency Ketchum, Red Summit Productions was brought in to bring that positioning to life through "What's the Tee," a two-episode branded content series shot on location at a golf club in LaGrange, Georgia, pairing FRESCA™ Mixed with a lifestyle and setting its audience already loves.
A brand-new product, two full episodes, one location, two days.
"What's the Tee" needed to introduce a brand-new product line while entertaining an audience that's seen no shortage of canned cocktails. That meant carrying FRESCA's elevated-but-fun tone across two distinct episode formats, a myth-busting segment and a golf-course fashion show, each with its own cast, wardrobe, and on-course choreography.
With hosts Heather McMahan and Jesse Soloman leading twelve on-camera talent alongside rotating groups of background golfers, the entire series had to be shot on a live, operating golf course, across a single condensed production day.
Setting the stage the night before, so shoot day could move fast.
Production began with a dedicated load-in day, bringing in lighting, grip, prop styling, and a full teleprompter rig to build out the club as a set before a single frame was shot. That prep meant shoot day itself, a 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM day, could move straight through two full episodes without losing time to setup.
Episode one moved through three myth-busting segments before sending Heather out onto the course with a rotating cast of background golfers for on-course b-roll. After a quick turn, episode two shifted into a fashion-show scavenger hunt and a "Put or Strut" golfer challenge, each requiring its own wardrobe, prop, and camera reset in the space of an hour, with two cameras, a dedicated stills photographer, and a full crew keeping every department moving in sync from the first hole to the last shot.
A golf course and a genuinely great mixer are a natural pair. Lush fairways, natural light, and a product built for the nineteenth hole did most of the storytelling for us.
Two episodes, one seamless production.
"What's the Tee" wrapped on schedule, delivering two full branded episodes, myth-busting and fashion-show/golfer-challenge formats, plus a full library of golf-course b-roll and stills photography, all captured across a single condensed production window.
The series gave FRESCA™ Mixed a launch-ready piece of content that puts the brand's elevated-but-fun positioning directly into the setting its audience already spends its summers in.
